During May, the Garden City of Christchurch hums to the tune of over 150 jazz and blues musicians during the internationally acclaimed Cavell Leitch New Zealand International Jazz and Blues Festival.
The festival showcases a diverse array of brilliant international talent and local up-and-coming musicians. The 23rd festival of it’s kind kicks off on May 23 with a ‘big, bold and brassy night of music’. Events are hosted throughout the vibrant, creative city that Christchurch has become since the 2012 Earthquake, with a new sense of rejuvenation to the older English style stone architecture.
