Celebrating our 40th birthday today, we would firstly like to sincerely thank you for all your support on our journey so far. The ID New Zealand team are hugely proud of our 40 years of experience as an innovative leader in the tourism sector and couldn’t have done this without the support from you, as well as the wider industry.

Keith Johnston founded ID New Zealand 40 years ago, when the NZ tourism industry was only really in its early stages. Keith showed incredible vision for the future and has helped pave the way for both incentive and cruise tourism in New Zealand.

ID New Zealand is leading the way as NZ’s largest cruise ground handler and is acclaimed by one major brand as one of their top tour operators in the world. Our Incentives team was recently awarded “Independent DMC of the year” by Maritz Travel, the first time an International DMC has taken home this coveted award. We have also been busy growing our FIT division and launched our new FIT branding and website; Bespoke Journeys.

Core to our business ethos and imperative across all three divisions at ID New Zealand is a passion to exceed customer expectations, our strong industry relations and also pushing new boundaries. We love showcasing the very best of New Zealand to the world and are proud to specialise exclusively on New Zealand experiences.

Alongside our birthday, we are celebrating 50% year on year growth in the last two years, a success we attribute to our enthusiastic, passionate and well-travelled team. With this growth we will be moving offices in October to Level 11 in the same building at 55 Shortland Street, Auckland. We look forward to welcoming you there when we are settled in.

As for the future, we plan to continue striving to offer our very best across all sectors and as always, we welcome your feedback.

Thank you again, sincerely, for your continued support!
