Our mission is to conduct our business in a way that supports and implements long-term sustainability practices, in order to minimise negative effects and maximise positive impacts on both the natural and social environment that we work within. We are committed to continuously improving our sustainability practices and performance.

Our long-term vision is that sustainability will be embedded in our core business practices and across the supply chain we work within. We align ourselves with Tourism Industry Aotearoa’s long-term aspiration goal of ‘Leading the World in Sustainable Tourism – Toitū te taiao, toitū te tāpoi. E kōkiri ana e Aotearoa’. ID New Zealand is committed to our part in creating a thriving and sustainable future for tourism in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

  • Develop and implement initiatives that strive for continuous improvement;
  • Encourage, promote and work together with our suppliers and clients to drive sustainability;
  • ID New Zealand is a ‘Carbon Friendly’ business, offsetting our footprint with EKOS, our goal is to be a ’Net Zero Carbon Business’ by 2025;
  • Co-operate and collaborate with New Zealand tourism industry initiatives, such as Tourism Industry Aotearoa’s (TIA) ‘Akiaki – Advancing Tourism’ program, TIA’s ‘New Zealand Tourism Sustainability Commitment‘ and also the Tourism New Zealand Tiaki Promise.
